Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Catherine AI platform and website (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Catherine AI (“Catherine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Catherine AI is an AI visibility platform that monitors how your business appears in AI-generated answers across platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, and provides insights and recommendations to improve your visibility. We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service at any time.

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Paid plans are billed on a monthly recurring basis. All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' prior notice.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code through the Service
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without prior written consent

You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Service (including business information, content, and configurations). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use this data solely to operate and improve the Service on your behalf. Our handling of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, reports, and documentation, is owned by Catherine AI and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding. Content generated by the Service for your business (such as schema markup and optimized content) is licensed to you for your use.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee specific outcomes, rankings, visibility improvements, or placement in any AI-generated response. AI search engine behavior is determined by third-party platforms whose models, training data, and ranking logic are outside our control and may change at any time. Results described in marketing materials are illustrative scenarios; individual outcomes will vary based on market conditions, competitive dynamics, and implementation quality.

The Service may generate assets on your behalf, including but not limited to schema markup (JSON-LD), optimized content, and recommended fixes. These assets are generated within the platform and are not automatically deployed to your website, third-party listings, or any external system unless you take explicit action to implement them.

You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and deploying any generated assets. Catherine AI does not guarantee that generated assets will be indexed, crawled, or recognized by third-party platforms after deployment.

Reports, scores, and recommendations provided by the Service are operational and informational tools based on observed and verified data. They do not constitute professional advice and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for business decisions. Score movement following an action represents an associated outcome observed in the same time period, not a proven causal relationship.

The Service relies on third-party AI engines, directory platforms, and data sources that are outside our control. Changes to these platforms — including API availability, response formats, rate limits, crawling schedules, and data freshness — may temporarily affect the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of our monitoring and reports. We monitor the health of our data sources but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to any third-party system.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Catherine AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting us to request account deletion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta, Canada.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
